Shipping/Handling fees

Generally orders will be shipped via US Postal Service. For First Class parcels, the fee is $5.00; Priority parcels start at $8.00. A tracking number will be sent to your email after we ship out your order. Our shipping charge is combined with shipping and handling fees, and is shown on your invoice. If your request to use UPS or DHL service, you will be charged an affordable and reasonable rate based on current rates provided by UPS or FedEx. All the shipping fees on the websites are estimated, the actual shipping fees will not reflect on your total until the day of shipping.

The shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. For rod blank orders, the shipping rates are size-based.

 

International Shipping Fee

DHL is the only option for international parcels, no expectations. For the rate, please refer to www.dhl.com. You will receive an international tracking number after we ship out your order. As soon as the order are leave our building, you are responsible for them.

 

Special Handling Fee

If you want to use your own UPS account, you will be charged a $5.00 handling fee.

 

Shipping Time

You may contact us if you wish your order to be shipped a certain way. Ship times for US Postal Service might vary between 2 days to 2 weeks for domestic shipment, depends on the zip code. Ship times for UPS or DHL might vary between 1 week to 8 weeks for international shipment. If you have preferred shipping method or carrier, please specify when you place the order and we will contact you regarding pricing.

 

Damaged Items

Any broken or defective parts will be at our discretion repaired or replaced under the guidelines of the manufacturers. Please email to [email protected] within 7 days of your shipment receipt (including gifts). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the damaged items.

If your parcel was damaged during transit, please submit photos of damaged parcel and parts for a return call tag. We will either resend you the replacement or refund in full amount after we receive the original parts back.

 

Loss of shipment

Platinum Parts and Services LLC is not liable to the loss of the shipment. You can file a claim for the loss of the shipment to the carriers along with your tracking number.

Order Cancellation

Platinum Parts and Services LLC does not offer online order cancellation. To cancel an order, please email to [email protected] within two (2) business days of placing your order with your order number.

 

Returns

Returns will only be accepted with prior authorization. Please email to [email protected] within 7 days of your shipment receipt (including gifts). You may return any item in new unopened and unused condition. All returns are subject to a 15% or minimum $3.00 restocking fee. Shipping Fees will only be refunded when we made an error (such as sending the wrong product). Items are not returnable if they are used in any way, or are missing parts.

We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned items. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
